E-Noa Interpad: Impressive Android Tablet for a Price
Posted on 28 July 2010 by androidfever

Fulfilling the dream of Android fan’s everywhere, German manufacturer E-Noa has announced an Android tablet with actual impressive hardware. Armed with a dual-core 1GHz processor and 1GB of DDR2 RAM, the tablet should fly, while the 16GB of storage with microSD slot allow for plenty of media to take advantage of it. On top of this, the device has plenty of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi networking, Bluetooth support, USB 2.0 connectivity, and an HDMI output port, giving users some definite one-ups on the Apple iPad crowd.
Unfortunately, it’s not all roses, however. While there may be an update later (E-Noa has said nothing on the matter), the Interpad will come stock with Android 2.1, forgoing the more impressive 2.2 Froyo. Also, while the Interpad offers plenty of connectivity, 3G cellular and GPS aren’t on this list, at least not with the first model to be released. A rumored later released model would have these, as well as a camera.
While these aren’t huge deal-breakers for many, the price probably will be: E-Noa plans to release the Interpad for 8, compared to the more budget friendly though less impressive Android tablets currently announced/available. For the rumored second release, 9 is the expected price tag. While I’m sure there would be many Android users more than willing to shell out cash for such a device, the public at large would probably have a hard time deciding between it and the more popular iPad. Also, as of yet, there is no expected release date, beyond before the end of the year, a very vague offering.
So what do you think? Worth the price or a bit too much?
